Upgraded

March 1st, 2008 at 12:41 am

Last night I took the plunge and upgraded to Quicken 2008. I had been using the 2006 version. It's going to take me some time to get used to the newer version, but so far I really like it. I like to be able to access different pages through the tabs. Reports are easier to access. It has a sleeker look than the old version.

I've always wanted to try Quicken. I've heard good things about it. But right now I'm just making do with my excel spreadsheets.

As you can tell from my blog and website... I love Quicken... Congrats on the upgrade! The change in the look of it takes a few days to get used too... but it's still a great program! Enjoy!

Out of curiosity, I was wondering why you wouldn't use Quik Books? I know that you studied the program. Or do you use both? I either need to start with Quicken upgrade or with Microsoft Money. I have both and they are the older versions.

Yes, I have both. QuickBooks is more for a business. I like Quicken for my personal finances.
