MRI Results

I went to get blood drawn today for more tests and was told that they weren't drawing blood today.

My MRI results show that I have an arachnoid cyst in the left side of my cerebellum. It's probably been there since birth and we don't even know if it's the cause of my problems I've been having but they want it looked at by a specialist.

In reading about it, I have very few of the symptoms listed, so hopefully it's just something to keep an eye on.

    rhonda, i'm keeping my fingers crossed that the cyst is just an anomaly and gout is the real issue: gout is exceedingly treatable!!

    ((hugs)) I hope that the cyst is totally unrelated...I agree with Tina, I hope it's really the gout!

    Ive experienced having an MRI to look for one issue and having the results detect another. It is an eerie feeling to see something you had no idea of staring back from your brain images (mine was a small aneurysm)

    I hope that the specialist finds no need for concern and that your gout is treated and the pain managed. {hug}

    Yes, one of the un-benefits of modern medicine is that you often detect benign conditions you would not otherwise know about and which cause no problems.
