I just submitted a request for a quote for disability insurance on myself. We've had disability insurance on DH for quite a while now, but until 4 years ago I was a SAHM and didn't really think about it. Now that I've got an income that we depend on, I think this is the next step to take. It looks like it would amount to less than $500 a year. That's not too bad.
I just have been feeling lately that we really need to get our bases covered just in case.
