Thanks!

I have to say that I have really enjoyed my time at SavingAdvice and blogging. It's keeping me focused on our finances and paying down our debt as much as possible. I have made some decisions, like term insurance and Vanguard, that I would never have done previously. I have learned a lot and want to thank all of you for the wisdom that you share!

This morning I set up a transer of the $10 bonus that I got for opening the Emigrant account to my Amboy Emergency Fund account this morning. Thanks Jeffrey!

Today I need to go to the Post Office and pay the extra postage on my paperwork for my IRA rollover from Northwest Savings Bank to Vanguard. I hope this can be done quickly and smoothly.

Still haven't heard on either of our term insurance applications.

Tuesday DH should get his profit sharing check. I want to apply all of it after the tithe to CC#1 and hopefully pay that off.

    So, if I switch from ING to Emigrant, I can get a $10.00 bonus. Was there a minimum investment? Thanks

    The $10 bonus was from SavingAdvice through using their link that's posted on the forum. It was deposited to my PayPal account. If you already have an ING account and send them 2 of your referrals, they'll give you a $25 bonus when you open an Emigrant account.

    I opened the Emigrant account with $20 but I don't think there was a minimum amount. Probably just has to be $1 or more.

    Anyone can correct me if I am wrong. :-)
