Start Late, Finish Rich

March 14th, 2007 at 11:49 am

I found Start Late, Finish Rich when I was changing the books at a deposit station today. I immediately slipped it into my work box so I could take it home to read.

The claim is that this book has the plan that will help you to build a secure financial future.

Start Late, Finish Rich is probably not the best of David Bach's books. I think it relies way too much on starting your own business or owning extra real estate as a landlord to be that helpful to the average person. I mean, yeah, I'd love to open up a successful Curves business as much as the next lady who cares about fitness, and even if the buy in isn't "that much" its still more than I can scrape together at this point in time, if you know what I mean. I much preferred Smart Couples Finish Rich and Smart Women Finish Rich. I think they are much more doable for regular people.

Now I love David Bach, he is my favorite finance author, but I really do think SLFR misses the boat a bit.

He also has CD Audio Books that I took out of the library as well.
