I Can't Fight this Feeling Anymore...

December 11th, 2006 at 10:15 am

Ah yes...the famous lyrics of REO Speedwagon's hit. But yesterday it took on new meaning to me as I sat working on my last accounting lesson:

DH was cleaning out the pellet stove when all of a sudden the shop vac made a terrible noise. You know, that sound that motors make when they're dying? Yeah, that sound.

Immediately my stomach went into knots. That sound means spending more money and lots of it! Ack! Not what I needed right then when we're working on getting my blood pressure down.

That sound made me even more determined to climb out of the depths of debt so that when things like that happen I don't automatically have an anxiety attack just wondering where the money is coming from.

The war rages on!

You do have a good attitude about your money situation. It's true that when these money grabbers happen that it makes you want to be even more financial free. You will be one day. I went throught the same thing when we were climbing out of debt. Believe me it doesn't feel any better about what has to be fixed, but like you said - you will have the money for it. I also have BP and I'd like to change ins. companies. Try to relax as much as you can knowing that there is nothing that you can do to change certain things. Only think about what you can change I.e. your diet, your exercising, your finances, etc. Hang in there.

"Manure Occureth" is my operative phrase. Don't let it upset you as it is just "stuff". There will be setbacks but you are on the right path and I can assure you it is well worth the journey. You will conquer your debt! You will succeed!

Thinking back 10 years from now how unimportant the vacuum will seem. Keep hitting it and you will conquer not only your debt but stress as well!Smile
